Universal Design: Increasing Livability [Video] |
|
In 2005, the City of Seattle's Aging & Disability Services partnered with Seattle Pacific University in a progressive new design project to improve "livability" for local residents. Called "Universal Design," this approach to interior design is just taking hold in a variety of Seattle environments - and the city is poised to become a leader in the coming years. This video summarizes the project, its planning, and the issues that were encountered. This is worth watching!
